How to edit a PDF online
- Choose your PDF. The document is read locally in your browser.
- Select a tool. For text, type the words in the text box and click the page. For drawing, highlighting or shapes, drag on the page.
- Choose Select / move to reposition an added edit. Use Remove selected or Undo to correct a mistake. Change pages with Previous and Next.
- Select Apply edits, then download your edited PDF and review the result.
What this editor supports
Add new text, JPG or PNG images, freehand drawings and visual signatures. Highlight or cover rectangular areas and draw outlines. The editor works with mouse, touch and stylus input. A signature drawing is a visual mark, not a certificate-based digital signature.
Important document limits
This editor adds content over the PDF. It does not directly modify the original text, provide OCR, or fill interactive form fields. Whiteout covers an area visually and is not a dedicated secure-redaction service.
To produce a consistent download, pages with edits are flattened into images. Those pages lose selectable text, hyperlinks, interactive forms and original vector quality. Unedited pages are copied from the original. Keep the source document; do not use this editor when preserving digital signatures, accessibility tags or print-ready quality is essential.

Are my documents uploaded?
No. PDF rendering and export run on your device. Your document contents are not sent to a conversion server.
Can I edit existing text like Sejda?
Direct editing of original PDF text is not included. You can visually cover an area with Whiteout and place new text on top. This is a simpler browser-based overlay editor.
Can I add Urdu text?
Text is rendered with the fonts available in your browser. Language and font support vary by device. Check the preview and downloaded file before sharing.
Can I undo an edit?
Yes. Undo and Redo keep up to 30 recent edit states while this page remains open. Your edits are not saved after closing or reloading the page.
